| Warn Continues to Expand its Product Options for Jeeps
Extreme duty bumpers head list of most recent product Introductions for Jeep XJ Cherokees
Clackamas, OR (April 17, 2003) Jeep vehicle owners
can turn to Warn Industries for a growing set of performance and protection
options. These include factory replacement bumpers being announced today
for XJ Cherokees, plus a suite of other options recently introduced for
CJs, TJs and YJs. All are Warn-engineered for durability and dependability
in any off-road condition or environment.
Tough Bumpers and Tire Carrier
"The new WARN front
bumper for XJ Cherokees is extreme by design, "says Thomas Giacomini,
Chief Operating Officer for Warn Industries. It is built with a combination
of 3/16" and 1/4" steel, and is black powder coated. Vertical members
are welded, tapered and angled, to ward off mud, deep snow and trail debris.
The bumper sides extend to the flares, matching the style line and protecting
the unibody parts. The winch mounting system is integrated and pull-tested
to 9500lb capacity. Eyelets are welded and ready for D-shackles. Front
bumper kits are available with and without grille guard tubes.
The WARN rear bumper is off-road by design as well. It sits
high and tight to the vehicle, and is angled inward to provide optimal
ground clearance. Construction is CNC-formed, laser-cut steel, with robotic
welding throughout, including on the eyelets, which can hold rugged D-ring
shackles as anchor points. The bumper accommodates factory and aftermarket
receivers and comes with a front bumper-matching black powder coat finish.
Oversize tires are no problem thanks to the beefy WARN
tire carrier. The swing-out carrier pivots on a 1 1/2" solid steel pin,
and handles tires up to 36". Features include, a polyurethane pad to reduce
rattling, integrated handle and built-in license plate mounting frame.
Rock Crawler Bumper and Winch Protection Options
For rock crawling rigs-such as CJs, YJs and TJs-popular options include
front and rear WARN Rock Crawler bumpers and grille guard tubes.
The WARN Rock Crawler Bumpers are built for extreme off
road conditions. They feature heavy 3/16" laser-cut steel construction,
robotic welding and durable powder coating finishes. Both have tapered
ends to allow for increased approach and departure angles, and welded
eyelets for mounting D-ring shackles.
The Rock Crawler rear bumper incorporates an integrated
2" receiver for mounting a portable winch or an additional shackle bracket.
It also accommodates the oversize tire carrier (up to 36" tires), and
features structural joint welds and frame reinforcing brackets.
WARN grille guard tubes are designed to provide added protection
to WARN winches. These grille guard tubes, available for Rock Crawler
bumpers and Wrangler TJ factory bumpers, are made of rugged, 2 inch-in-diameter
tubular steel. They bolt directly to both bumper types (or to the appropriate
winch mounting plate) with no drilling required. Both tubes come in black
power coat finish.
