| Warn Industries Expands 424 Select Line
Warn 424 Select enables Yamaha Wolverine and Kawasaki Prairie drivers
to switch from 4- to 2-wheel drive for greater maneuverability
Clackamas, OR (February 10, 2003) For Yamaha and
Kawasaki ATV owners who want the option of 2-wheel drive performance,
Warn Industries has expanded its WARN 424 Select applications to include
Yamaha Wolverine and Kawasaki Prairie models.
The WARN 424 Select front-end disconnect system allows
users to manually disengage both front wheels for greater maneuverability,
and reengage 4-wheel drive for superior traction. It is available for
the Yamaha Wolverine, 1996-1999 and 2000-present; and for the Kawasaki
Prairie 300,1999-2002.
"The WARN 424 Select system is an affordable upgrade
that offers a fun, sport bike feel while also reducing steering effort
and wear and tear on you and your bike," said John Vandecoevering, Director
of ATV Products for Warn Industries. "Conversely, when you need the option
of 4-wheel drive to conquer tough terrain, the product will allow you
to easily switch back."
The system is made for superior performance under extreme
conditions. The disconnect shafts are made out of nickel plated 4140 alloy
heat-treated steel, which is both durable and corrosion resistant. The
shift housing is tightly sealed to minimize maintenance. Also, a Teflon-lined
control cable resists friction bind-up, which allows for easy engagement,
and years of trouble-free usage.
The WARN 424 Select comes with a 1 year warranty.
