Warn Industries participates in SOLV clean up
Company donates time, energy, and equipment to
help clean up Oregon Forest areas
Clackamas, OR (05/03/10) - Warn Industries is proud of its Pacific Northwest heritage, and believes
in giving back to the local community. On April 17, 2010, Warn Industries teamed up with SOLV
(Stop Oregon Litter and Vandalism) for a forest clean up, helping to keep Oregon beautiful and make
it a great place to live. Numerous WARN employees, including CEO John McCalla, volunteered their
time and energy to help clean up parts of the Oregon forest in what was one of the largest Earth Day
events in the nation.
Volunteers used WARN winches and accessories to recover various pieces of debris including sofas,
appliances, and lots of old tires that had been dumped into ravines and gullies. Recovering such
items from these parts of the forest can be a daunting task. However, with the aid of WARN vehicles,
WARN equipment, and some time and effort, the volunteers were able to successfully recover these
items and bring them out of the forest to be properly discarded.
